Twinkle Light Parade
Marching bands, classic cars, dancers, and prancers will make their way through Albuquerque’s Nob Hill during the annual Twinkle Light Parade on Saturday, Dec. 1 beginning at 5:15 p.m.
The parade route will move west on Central Ave. from Washington Street to Girard Blvd.
This is the largest Twinkle Light Parade in recent years with 130 entries and nearly 4,000 individuals.
Attendees are encouraged to get to Nob Hill early for holiday shopping and local dining.

The event is free and free park and ride will be available at the southwest corner of Lomas Blvd. and University Blvd. Buses will run from the lot to Johnson Field throughout the event until 10 p.m.

Popejoy Presents The Nutcracker Ballet
Current ballet stars of New York City and New Mexico Philharmonic will join New Mexico Ballet Company to perform a winter classic.
Conducted by David Helberg, performers will perform New Mexico’s largest, most lavish production of the timeless tale of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince. Groups of 15 or more will receive a 15 percent discount off of all tickets.
This weekend is the show’s last weekend performing. New York City Ballet dancers, New Mexico Ballet Company, and the Philharmonic take the stage Dec 1 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Dec. 2 at 2 p.m.

Recipes will be assembled into a community holiday cookbook in early December and available to the public by mid-Dec.
This is a project by the BernCo Senior and Social Services office and they are hoping to do this a couple of times during the year with different themes (BBQ, Desserts, etc).
