ABQ To Do Crew has Events for The Family

There is a lot going on from the Nutcracker ballet and Finding Neverland to the Rio Grande indoor pool, where you can swim with Santa.

There will be seven public performances of The Nutcracker at the KiMo Theatre. The first performance is on Saturday, December 15 and the last one is on Christmas Eve. Ticket prices range from $17 to $30. Ballet Repertory Theatre’s The Nutcracker has been a tradition since 1996.

At Popejoy, “Finding Neverland” takes audiences to a place where anything is possible and the wonder of childhood lasts forever. Telling the back story of Peter Pan, the story includes the trials and tribulations of what we know as a great work of art that has changed all of our lives. Join the holiday fun at Rio Grande Indoor Pool, 2312 Arenal Rd. SW and Swim with Santa. This all-ages swim will be held on Friday, Dec. 14 from 5-9 p.m. Enjoy festive family fun with face painting, a cake walk, games, music and of course, pictures with Santa. The price for general swimming is $4.25 for adults 18 and over, $3.25 for kids 17 to 6, $2 for kids 5 and under. Spectators are $3.
