Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico is in urgent need of male mentors

Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico has a new look and new messaging and is celebrating National Mentoring Month.

The organization recently unveiled its new modern look with the goal of recruiting more diverse volunteers as well as stress their urgent need for mentors within the program.

CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region David Sherman discussed their new look and how their mission of encouraging healthy relationships between mentors and children in the program.

Mentor Lee Cabeza de Vaca discussed his time within the program and how he has now been a big brother to three Littles. He really encourages men to go out and volunteer and how being with his little brothers has enriched his own life as well.

A Little within the program Lincoln Byrd talks about the activities he has taken part in during his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters and explains how the experience impacted him positively.
