Adopt a pet from Animal Humane New Mexico

Now is the time to adopt and provide a loving environment for a pet. Sue Eubank with Animal Humane New Mexico and Ashley Fathergill, owner of YogaZo stopped by the set of New Mexico Living to discuss the benefits of animal adoption and Yoga events in the city.

Dixie is a 5-year-old border collie cross. She is good with other dogs and great with children 2-years-old and older. Dixie’s also good on a leash and does great in the car.

YogaZo has been partnering with Animal Humane for the last three years so a portion of their proceeds have been benefitting the organization. Pints & Planks and Pups is a yoga event at Boxing Bear Brewing Co. in which 100 percent of the proceeds go towards homeless pets.

The event takes place at Boxing Bear on Corrales Road from 11 a.m. to noon on January 13. It costs just $10 to attend.
