Lots of events are going on this weekend around New Mexico From the Albuquerque Pesos and Patriots exhibit and Popejoy’s “Sound of Music”, to a new series going on at Bernalillo County’s Hubble House there are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.
Pesos and Patriots: New Mexico’s Role in the American War of Independence
Albuquerque Museum presents the opening of the community-curated history exhibition ‘Pesos and Patriots”. The exhibit tells the story of the Albuquerque families who supported the American cause in the fight for independence and played a key role in many battles. Visitors can enjoy a guitar performance, art-making activities, and a discussion on the exhibit. The exhibit will run from January 26 through May 19.

The Sound of Music
A brand new production of ‘The Sound of Music’ has arrived at Popejoy Hall. Maria and the von Trapp family are back in this family-friendly musical event. The beloved story will stun audiences with popular, award-winning hits from the successful movie musical. Tickets range from $48 to $93. This is a great family event for everyone to enjoy.
