Andrew Bustos from Precision Catering talks about a new program, in partnership with the New Mexico Food bank and United Healthcare called “Kids Kitchen” launching in February. Bustos joined us in the kitchen Monday and cooked up a sample dish from the food program.
He made a healthy dish with whole-grain penne pasta, boneless and skinless all natural chicken breast, baby heirloom tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, and garlic topped with some shredded parmesan.

The Food Depot hunger network is composed of more than 145 partner agencies including emergency food pantries, hot meal programs, homeless shelters, youth programs, group homes, senior centers, children’s homes, day care centers and shelters for battered families.
The Food Depot is a partner distribution organization of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks throughout the nation, serving all 50 states. The Food Depot is one of five food banks in the New Mexico Association of Food Banks.
