Against the backdrop of scientific studies indicating the power of music to heal chronic illness, including new National Institutes of Health (NIH) research on the topic, opera-singer-turned-sound-healer Donatella Moltisanti will be in New Mexico in mid-February.
She will be in the Land of Enchantment for a series of sound healing programs. Moltisanti has been in top media including ABC, CBS, and PBS and has offered programs to venues including Stanford University, University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, and Bastyr University of Naturopathic Medicine, in conjunction with leading integrative medicine doctors nationwide.
Moltisanti shared a bit of her practice, her background in opera and how her self-discovery of healing through music spawned this alternative form of therapy. She will be hosting a series of workshops in New Mexico through February 24.
