The Boys and Girls Club of Central New Mexico has announced its upcoming summer programs that run May 28 to August 9 in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. The program is for kids and low-income families can apply for scholarships.
Their programs run 11 hours a day, from 7 a.m to 6 p.m. They offer tech classes, computer labs, internet safety, arts/crafts, cooking, field trips and sports and nutrition. They also have summer scholarships available for families who are low-income and simply cannot afford to pay for their child to attend Boys and Girls Clubs.
Since 1952, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Mexico (BGCCNM) has provided at-risk children, between the ages of 5 and 18, with a safe place to learn and grow. Currently, the Club serves over 4,000 children in its Albuquerque and Rio Rancho Clubs, providing them with state-of-the-art programming administered by highly trained staff. Club members learn leadership skills, explore career opportunities, and become healthy individuals who are ready to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.
