Support group helps those who are adopting kids

There is a group called “Heart for Adoption Schole Sisters, which is a support group for moms of children at Oak Grove Classical Academy.

This group is comprised of moms who are currently adopting and fostering kids. Stephanie and her husband Dr. Andy Dollahite have been married for nearly 16 years. Since before they met, both wondered if adoption would be part of their future. They tried for a couple of years, but when Stephanie failed to get pregnant, they began the process to adopt an infant domestically.

Both would like folks in Albuquerque to be aware of and consider caring for orphans, whether in local foster care, domestic infants, and international adoption.

On March 28 and April 4 there will be a caring for orphans free information fair. This non-fundraising open house will feature multiple tables hosted by local organizations which can help you get involved with serving the weak and the fatherless, whether or not you’re called to adopt.
