Downtown Growers’ Market has local artisans, musicians, growers

Help keep Albuquerque thriving and make new friends at the same time at the Downtown Growers’

Local artisans, musicians, growers, nonprofits and health and wellness advocates all get together to offer a variety of family-friendly events. The Downtown Growers’ Market is the longest running and largest farmers’ market in Albuquerque. It was started in 1996 by local farmers banding together.

Today our main focus is still growers, but we’ve expanded to include locally prepared foods, local artisans, health and wellness advocates, non-profits and musicians. Each market we feature a different local musician and offer free yoga. New this year, there will be a Zumbini class at every market. This is an early childhood (0-4 yrs) dance, music and educational class for parents and kids.

Starting in May a local neighborhood association volunteers to offer a bike valet so you can bike to the market and have a safe space to park your bike.
