ABQ To Do has great family friendly events

Entertaining and educational events await people such as theatrical performances, art installations, and public safety day seminars. Here are some upcoming events happening in Albuquerque.

Opening Reception for Out of Doors: Acts of Ecology in Albuquerque is taking place on Saturday at the Open Space Visitor Center. The exhibit features artworks that explore our relationship with the ecosphere. Check it out on Saturday, May 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Open Space Visitor Center.

The Adventures of Pinocchio is taking the spotlight at the Growing Stage Theatre now through May 12. All ages are welcome. Tickets are $16 per person. ($1 per ticket goes to Carrie Tingley Children’s Hospital)

Bernalillo County Public Safety departments will be participating in Public Safety Day at Cottonwood Mall this Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the Old Navy entrance. Go to ABQ To Do for more information.
