Cheering on the Isotopes at Isotopes Park

Our own Sara Rose, Guide to Living Local, went to Isotopes Park to cheer on the Isotopes during a game. Isotopes Park stands in the exact same spot as where historic Albuquerque Sports Stadium stood from 1969 until it was almost completely razed in 2002. Some remnants from the old ballpark can still be found at The Lab, including the foundation of the main seating bowl, a pair of concrete retaining walls near each dugout, and of course, the trademark baseball that stands sentry on the corner of the University and Avenida Cesar Chavez.
