U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union hosts food drive at New Mexico United game

Founded in 1935, U.S. Eagle is the oldest federal credit union in the state. They are now partnering with New Mexico United to host a food drive for the Rio Grande Food Project at the June 8 game.

U.S. Eagle is requesting members and game attendees bring non-perishable food items. The Rio Grande Food Project will be at the game collecting non-perishable food items.

Since 1989, the Rio Grande Food Project has worked with community members to prevent and end hunger among children, adults, and seniors throughout the Albuquerque metro area by reducing local food waste and providing low-income households with needed groceries.

U.S. Eagle has nine branches throughout the state of New Mexico located in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, Santa Fe, and Farmington. They are a financial cooperative which means they have member-owners who receive excellent member service, lower rates on loans, and higher returns than other financial institutions. Their mission is to create world where people matter more than numbers.
