Bernalillo goes country for Farmhouse Ale Event

Dust off the boots and get out your cowboy hat this summer you can enjoy a live outdoor festival at Loretto Park featuring a huge beer garden, games, kids area and more. While New Mexico is famous for its wine and beer festivals, the Farmhouse Ale event sets itself apart with a country theme with performers including Grace Askew, Cody Joe Hodges, and Syd Masters.

The first annual Farmhouse Ale Event takes place in historic Bernalillo this weekend. Hosted by Kaktus Brewing Company and supported by the Bernalillo Lodgers Tax, the event aims to be the largest county music event in the state.

Sure to be one of the summer’s highlights, it and will include county music acts from Nashville, ax throwing, live animals, a kids’ zone and more. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the nonprofits The Kiwanis Club of Greater Bernalillo, Purify the Planet and UN-17.

Gates open at the Farmhouse Ale Event at 11:30 a.m. and the fun happens from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. The event will be at Loretto Park at 711 Camino Del Pueblo in Bernalillo.
