For the past 70 years, The American Heart Association has been serving the state of New Mexico, by working to solve complex issues that affect this generation and generations to come. Its mission is to create a world free of heart disease and stroke, a world where everyone can achieve the best possible health.
One way to bring the community together is with the Albuquerque Heart Walk. The American Heart Association, with the help of everyday people, can improve the quality of life, ensure healthy environments, strengthen the economy, elevate care and change policy for all.
The Albuquerque Heart Walk will take place Saturday at 9 a.m., June 8 at the Hoffmantown Church in Albuquerque located at 2201 San Pedro NE in Albuquerque, NM 87110.
