Presbyterian Ear Institute offers communication options for kids

Since 1987 The Presbyterian Ear Institute has been serving deaf and hard of hearing people in the state of New Mexico. The medical staff at Presbyterian Ear Institute, they want families with deaf or hard of hearing children to know about all of the communication options available for their child. This could be a great help to them in the future.

PEI is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization established in 1987 to serve deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in New Mexico. PEI has established the only early childhood education program in the state offering the listening and spoken language option to deaf and hard of hearing children. The critical language learning window is from birth to approximately 3 years of age when brain development is the greatest.

There are upcoming fundraisers for PEI: Mercedes Benz Dealer Championship Golf Tournament at Sandia Golf Club, September 6, 2019, and the  Annual Gala and Auction at The Event Center at Sandia Golf Club, November 2, 2019.
