Chef Rocky Durham uses homegrown food products in dishes

 

Promoting homegrown food and beverage products from New Mexico. That is Rocky Durham’s role as one of the “New Mexico Taste the Tradition Chef Ambassadors.” He’s currently doing that at the Blue Heron Restaurant at Sunrise Springs Resort, by regularly Incorporating New Mexico products into this dishes.

Since Durham is one of two New Mexico Department of Agriculture “New Mexico Taste the Tradition Chef Ambassadors”, his role is to help promote NM grown and made food and beverage products to buyers of all types, including consumers across the state and nation.

Rocky is passionate about NM and our state’s agriculture industry. He sources local products regularly and incorporates them into his dishes at the Blue Heron Restaurant at Sunrise Springs Resort where he serves as their Executive Chef.
