Music marathon benefiting homeless on June 22

The music ministry of Saint John’s Methodist Church is presenting a midsummer music marathon, to benefit Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless.

The fundraiser will showcase some of Albuquerque’s best musicians perform. There will be plenty of food truck, and all the benefits will go towards Albuquerque Healthcare for the homeless. Saint Johns has a vibrant music ministry, with more than a 100 people of all ages involved in choirs.

It likes to engage with the community as much as possible, and for more than ten years, has partnered with Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless, to raise funds for them.

The 8-hour concert will be Saturday, June 22, noon to 8 p.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona Street NE in Albuquerque.

Some of Albuquerque’s best musicians will perform 20-30 minute sets. Audience members purchase tickets for $25, and come and go and hear as much as they would like. Go to Midsummer Music Marathon for more info.
