Love ABQ is spreading unity in the city and is serving it as well. This is the week people saw thousands of Love ABQ volunteers come together to complete all sorts of community service projects.
There will be a Freedom Celebration this weekend at Isotopes Park. The event is for everyone and a great experience for the family. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. There will be amazing bands and fireworks displays.
Holly Slade, Executive Director says teams of volunteers are making a difference, whether it’s delivering food, helping local schools, or helping out at Albuquerque’s Senior Games.
Did you know: According to the Feed NM Kids’ website, New Mexico Ranks 1st in childhood hunger (25% of children in NM live in food insecure homes), 48th in childhood well being, 48th in childhood health and 50th in education.
