Duke City Roller Derby is growing in popularity

In Albuquerque, The Duke City Roller Derby is dedicated to the healthful aspects of athletics. The travel team is committed to teaching and growing the sport, and have been moving up the ranks, now at 107th in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, and are looking to keep moving up.

It has a game coming up on June 29 in Rio Rancho at the McDermott Center. It’s a doubleheader and will feature our travel team, The Munecas, vs the Texas team, Assassination City’s Conspirators. And, our home team, the HoBots will play Assassination City’s Co-Conspirators.

In order to play roller derby, you have to pass a skills test and understand the rules of roller derby. We train people to skate and our new skater intake is August 5 at the Heights Community Center. Go to Duke City Roller Derby for information.
