The Bernalillo County Extention is an outreach arm of New Mexico State University that works with the County and the USDA. They provide educational programs and community support for agriculture, horticulture, and cooking.
The extension hosts the 4-H Youth Program, Master Gardeners, Master Composters, and Master Food Preservers. It helps local farmers, especially fruit and vegetable producers, to grow, harvest, and market their produce and products.
