If you’re looking for some quality theatre performances, look no further than the Vortex.
They are Albuquerque’s oldest running black box theatre and has been a pioneering venue in New Mexico since 1976. The Vortex Theatre presents, “The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged” – a fast-paced hilarious romp through all 40 of William Shakespeare’s plays. Three men, Ryan Jason Cook, Daniel T. Cornish and Caleb Daniel Ramsell play all the roles. Irreverant, fun and funny – you’ve never seen Shakespeare like this.
“The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged” will play from July 12 to August 18, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. On Sundays the show starts at 2 p.m.
General admission is $24 and students ages 12 to 18 are $15.
The VORTEX is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) organization. The theatre continues to entertain audiences with some of the city’s finest stage productions, from local and national premieres to new interpretations of classic works.
