Tips on keeping pets safe during Fourth of July

People will soon be celebrating the Fourth of July, which means the night skies will also be filled with dazzling fireworks. As much as we like the vibrant night sky, our pets might feel a little different about the festivities.

Make sure your pets are safely contained if they are outside. Also make sure that they can’t get out through a gate or jump the fence. Another thing to consider is to keep them indoors while the fireworks are going off. This can help releave stress and anxiety they might have while fireworks are going off.

Pet oweners may also want to get their animals microchipped. Also, its a good idea to make sure your pet has all the proper contacts on their collar tags.
