ABQ ToDoCrew offers variety of weekend fun in the Albuquerque metro

Here in the Duke City there is never a shortage of fun things to do and the ABQ ToDoCrew will break down this weekends best events.

44th Army Band Independence Weekend Concert:

The New Mexico Jazz Workshop and Music in Corrales will present an afternoon of music at the Albuquerque Museum. The concert is included with general paid admission to the museum. The event begins at 2 p.m. with a 7 p.m. free concert featuring the 44th Army Band Big Band and Brass Band.

‘A Journey into the Absurd’:

Dive into short stories by Eugene Ionesco that have never before been staged for the theatre. Theatre-in-the-Making celebrates its 30th anniversary by bringing these stories to life. Performances begin July 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Movies in the Park: Mary Poppins Returns

Free movies return in the park on July 6. Bernalillo County presents ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ at Mariposa Park at 4900 Kachina St NW. The show is free and will begin at dusk. Food vendors will be at the park as well and lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.
