Golfing weather is officially here so why not hit the course for a worthy cause? That’s what you can do by participating in the Cheesecake Factory Annual Golf Classic.
This charity golf tournament will be benefiting the Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network whose goal is to empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families through advocacy, education, and support. The nonprofit creates awareness, assures inclusion, and promotes independence in individuals with Down syndrome.
General Manager of the Cheesecake Factory, Rob Hester explains that his team wanted to make a positive impact on their community and in teaming up with Jeannine Miller Barreras is thrilled to host the tournament.
The tournament takes place on Monday, July 22 at the Tanoan County Club. The event will feature a putting contest, long-drive contest, closet to the pin contest, and box lunch and dinner, and raffle prizes.
All funds will go towards the Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network. Singles and teams are welcome at the tournament with registration costing $125 for an individual player and $500 for a team of four.
Sponsorships are also available.
