Animal Humane New Mexico’s Diamond shines brilliantly as Pet of the Week

If you are looking to add to your family in the form of a furry, four-legged friend then you are in luck. Since 2010, Animal Humane New Mexico has rehomed 100% of the healthy pets in their care and that work continues today.

Madison Beets of Animal Humane brought along Diamond who is the Pet of the Week. Madison says that Diamond is a boxer cross who is about seven years old.

Diamond came to Animal Humane as a stray around the Fourth of July holiday. After workers were unable to reconnect Diamond with her owners, she was cleared behaviorally and medically and is now ready to be adopted.

It is unknown how Diamond does with other dogs, and anyone curious about adopting is asked to stop by with their dogs for a meet and greet. Potential adopters are asked to fill out an application form which will help estimate the needs of each family and pet.

Animal Humane also offers daycare and training courses in agility and behavior. Learn more about The Center at Animal Humane, by clicking here.
