Animal Humane New Mexico highlights Aries as Pet of the Week

If you are looking to add a furry friend to your family, look no further than Animal Humane New Mexico.

Madison Beets with Animal Humane New Mexico brought along the Pet of the Week Aries who is a male American pitbull cross who is about six-years-old. Madison explains Aries was a transfer from Espanola Valley Humane and went through a foster program and lived with children ages 8 to 16 and even a kitten.

He would be suitable in just about any house as he gets along with everyone and showed no signs of separation anxiety during his evaluation.

Founded in 1965, Animal Humane New Mexico is the state’s leading private nonprofit animal welfare organization serving more than 10,000 homeless and at-risk dogs and cats each year.

Chile Fest kicks off on Saturday, August 24, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sheperd of the Valley Church. Animal Humane will also be at the event with their mobile adoption unit in addition to live chile roasting, arts and crafts, a plant sale and more.
