Sacred Journeys II comes alive at National Hispanic Cultural Center

Two-time Grammy award-winning Taos Pueblo musician Robert Mirabal and internationally-renowned New York City Ballet guest choreographer Jock Soto will collaborate to present Sacred Journeys II with Festival Ballet Albuquerque.

Classical and contemporary dance will combine with eclectic music as well as spoken word to create a reflection of New Mexican cultures. Jock Soto explains the performance is a revision of last year’s Sacred Journey, creating over an hour of elaborate choreography coming alive to Mirabal’s music.

Sacred Journeys II comes to the Albuquerque Journal Theatre at the National Hispanic Cultural Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 24 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 25.

Tickets range between $14 to $48.

A VIP meet and greet after-party will take place after the show on Saturday for audience members to meet with Robert Mirabal and Jack Soto. Tickets cost $65.
