The City of Albuquerque wants to make sure you stay safe on the roads this Labor Day weekend with the “Take A Ride on Us” program. Ron Bell Injury Lawyers, in partnership with Cumulus Media Albuquerque, Bernalillo County Dept. of Behavioral Health Services, the New Mexico Department of Transportation, and the CABQ Dept. of Family & Community Services will be offering a $10 Uber credit to prevent drunk driving.
Ron Bell explains that New Mexico had only five DWI fatalities in the month of July. However, the upcoming Labor Day weekend means many people will be out on the roads.
“It’s a big weekend for people to drive long distances, and that means they’re driving faster. And it’s important that hey not be distracted, don’t drink and drive, take rest when necessary, and keep your family safe on this holiday weekend,” said Bell.
The “Take A Ride on Us” program will run from noon on August 30 through 30 a.m. on September 3. The first 1,200 Uber app users to enter the code ABQLABOR19 will receive $10 off of one Uber trip.
