Positive Links hold conference on link between animal abuse, human violence

Positive Links is a nonprofit that works to reduce all forms of family violence like animal abuse, child abuse, domestic violence and elder abuse.

The conference will follow two tracks this year. Positive Links will talk about how we all can work together to stop violence toward people and animals. They will also talk about social work and domestic violence and how it related to animal abuse.

September 9 and 10 they will be holding a New Mexico conference on the link between animal abuse and human violence. Monday’s conference will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday’s conference will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will also be held at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

Late registration costs $100 per person.
