Good Neighbor Award program recognizes local non-profit

The Good Neighbor Award program is designed to recognize individuals and their charities for their good works.

Good Neighbors are realtors and affiliates that dedicate themselves to volunteer service. They donate gifts, money and time to their charity.

The Good Neighbor Award Program not only recognizes individuals and their charities for their good works, but it also helps the public understand the positive impact of realtors in the community. GAAR is proud to recognize realtor Holly Slade as one of five GAAR Good Neighbor award winners recognized in 2019.

Holly Slade is a realtor with Dave Slade & Associates, LLC and serves as Founder and Executive Director of Feed New Mexico Kids. Slade founded Feed New Mexico Kids whose mission is to end childhood hunger in New Mexico. Holly’s hard work has paid off and in two years, the non-profit has already distributed more than 34 tons of food to needy children in our state.

New Mexico ranks top in the nation for childhood hunger and Feed New Mexico Kids provide weekend snack packs to children who otherwise would not have adequate food over the weekend.

The non-profit has collected and distributed over 25-tons of food so far this year.
