Animal Humane NM highlights Pet of the Week Cinnamon, offers dog daycare at The Center

Are you planning on going out of town but don’t know what to do with your four-legged friend? The Center has you covered.

The Center is a state-of-the-art training, boarding, and daycare facility in Albuquerque that offers your pet a comfortable, stress-free experience during their stay in addition to their training services. Operations Director at The Center, Trevor Driggs explains that the facility allows dogs to socialize in a safe and positive environment and even includes a progress report to update you on your pets visit.

Fundraising events and merchandising associate manager Madison Beets brought along the Pet of the Week, Cinnamon, a two-year-old Chihuahua mix. Beets explains Cinnamon is available for pre-adoption as she is currently waiting to be spayed.

Animal Humane’s Doggie Dash & Dawdle is quickly approaching. The Doggie Dash is the shelter’s signature event and their largest fundraiser that attracts over 4,000 attendees each year.

Doggie Dash takes place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 3 at Balloon Fiesta Park. Proceeds from the event benefit the dogs and cats in the shelter’s care as well as their community programs.

Animal Humane New Mexico is a private, nonprofit, shelter that never euthanizes based on age or length of stay. Since 2021, they have rehomed 100% of healthy pets in their care.
