Paul Thornock is the director of music and organist at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Thornock has performed all over the country and has been heard as both an organist and a conductor on the nationally syndicated radio program “Pipe Dreams” and “With Heart and Voice”.
On Friday, you have the opportunity to see Dr. Thornock live for free at the First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. This concert is also the first of the American Guild of Organists season.
The program will feature works by J.S. Bach including “Prelude and Fuge in E minor” and “Symphonie pour Orgue” Op. 5 by French organist and composer Augustin Barie.
While in Albuquerque, Dr. Thornock will also be presenting a master class for organists. The Organ Master Class will be held Saturday, September 14 at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Albuquerque.
