Pro Wrestling and Lucha Libra event comes to Albuquerque

Who is the top masked wrestler in the southwest? Saturday, September 21 at the Johnny Tapia Community Center there will be a pro wrestling Lucha Libre event.

Danny Gee who is a wrestler talked about the live event and what people can expect. “This is something live. This is something interactive and intimate with the fans,” said Gee.

He says during the Lucha Libre event, the wrestlers will be doing high flying acrobatics wearing masks and colorful costumes.

Caleb Manson, who is also a wrestler, said this is a passion of his. “If you watched it growing up, you love those individuals in the ring. They are doing these incredible moves,” said Manson.

The event is open for all ages and tickets will be sold at the door. The event starts at 6 p.m. with bell time starting at 7 p.m.
