Top New Mexico chefs compete in ‘Duke it Out’ event

Putting some of the cities top chefs to the test is what the annual “Duke it Out” event is all about.

The event is September 25 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. VIP tickets are $100 and premium tickets are $50.

Slate Street is one of the competitors this year. Slate Street is a locally owned business that used fresh produce. Tracy Johnson will be competing in the pasty category.

On New Mexico Living Johnson made an Apple Delight, which she sells at Slate Street. Proceeds from the event will go to El Ranchito de los Ninos.
