Albuquerque Little Theatre’s Silver Players offers weekly training for senior artists

The Silver Players company offers opportunities for seasoned and inexperienced actors, singers, and playwrights, and technicians to train in weekly “workouts” that include improvisation, scene study, character and script development, rehearsal and performance of the main stage and touring productions.

The group allows mature players to develop a repertoire of classic and contemporary productions as well as the opportunity to write, design, and produce works bu its own members. The Silver Players will be starting in September and is led by the award-winning actor, director, and arts educator Staci Robbins.

Membership fees for the program are based on a semester-long commitment which is 12 weeks. Silver Players meets on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from September 24 through December 17, 2019.

The group will hold a performance on the Albuquerque Little Theatre Stage on December 17 at 10:30 a.m. and at 7 p.m.
