Specializing in indigenous techniques, Corn Maiden anticipates Duke It Out competition

Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or graduation, the Corn Maiden at Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa is sure to create a memorable culinary experience. The restaurant specializes in highlighting indigenous techniques while representing the highest Hyatt brand standards.

Ernesto Duran has been Chef de Cuisine at the Corn Maiden for three years and has been with Hyatt for over 10 years. Ernesto shows off his technique for cooking an aromatic pork belly and beans dish.

This will be Ernesto’s third time competing in the Duke It Out competition which will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event pits nine of Albuquerque’s top chef against each other for top honors.

Proceeds from the event will benefit El Ranchito de los Niños which is a children’s home thats dedicated to keeping sibling groups together who might otherwise be separated in foster care. To purchase tickets to Duke It Out, click here.
