Fall in love during Reading Works’ ‘Blind Date with a Book’

Have a blind date with a book and help support adult literacy with Reading Works, a local nonprofit that provides free English and literacy tutoring to adults.

Reading Works has served over 1,400 adults since 2009, impacted the lives of over 2,200 children and has won awards from the Library of Congress and the National Literacy Directory.

Reading Works is hosting its ‘Blind Date with a Book’ fundraiser on October 16, 2019. Guests are invited to enjoy appetizers and wine at Seasons Rotisserie and Grill in Old Town while they select a new book.

Books will be wrapped in paper with some hints in order for guests to pick the perfect one to take home and enjoy. The event costs $35 for advance tickets and $45 at the door.
