ABQ To Do previews ‘El Camino’ at the KiMo, Russian Ballet Theatre, and trade fair

The Duke City has been a buzz all week thanks to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta but that’s not the only fun happening in the 505. The ABQ To Do crew discuss the best events in the city.

“El Camino” screening at KiMo Theatre: This recently released Netflix film reunites “Breaking Bad” fans with Jesse Pinkman as he comes to terms with his past. The KiMo Theatre will hold two showings of the film on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7 p.m. and at 10 pm.

Russian Ballet Theatre presents “Swan Lake”: The ballet that has captivated audiences for over a century will once again take to the stage, this time featuring Russian traditions. The Russian Ballet Theatre’s production includes hand-painted sets, over 150 hand-sewn costumes and SFX makeup by an award-winning artist. Their season opener takes place Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Popejoy Hall.

El Camino Real Trade Fair: Take part in treasures and traditions along El Camino Real with demonstrations, living history actors, local artisans, music, food trucks, and museum tours. The event takes place on Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gutierrez Hubbell House.
