Santa Fe Film Festival celebrates innovative and independent filmmaking

If you are a film junkie, you are not going to want to miss the Santa Fe Independent Film Festival beginning on October 16 and running through October 20.

Coming to the heart of downtown Santa Fe, the festival presents over films, panels, discussions, and parties over five days and nights of community events. Showings will include foreign films, independent films of this year, and much more.

The festival will take place at several of Santa Fe’s independent theatres including the Violet Crown, Lensic Performing Arts Center, Jean Cocteau Cinema, Center for Contemporary Arts, and The Screen.

The Santa Fe Independent Film Festival will begin with “Just Mercy” starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx. The festival will close with “Sorry We Missed You” by master director Ken Loach on October 20.

Passes, packages, and tickets are available for the festival. Passes include all access to everything taking place during the festival with the exception of the Filmmaker Brunch.

Tickets are also available, allowing visitors to access individual screenings, events, or panels. Package deals offer a discount for multiple shows.
