American Home continues Ice Bucket Challenge with ALS Association New Mexico

Over the past few weeks, American Home’s customers received a discount on their orders by donating $25 towards their goal of raising $10,000 for the ALS Association New Mexico chapter. The chapter received around $5,000 in donations from customers with the remaining amount being raised by employees, friends and business associates.

Management at American Home happily agreed to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge if the group was able to raise the $10,000. So far, the general manager and customer service manager of the American Home location on Comanche have participated in the challenge.

On Friday, October 25 at 10 a.m., the owner, president, chief, financial officer, VP of merchandising, senior buyer, and sales manager from the American Home location on Menaul will finish this year’s Ice Bucket Challenge.

The ALS Association New Mexico Chapter supports individuals living with the disease and their loved ones through services and education. Their mission is to discover treatments and a cure for ALS and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.
