Learn how to be confident in the kitchen with Elana Horwich at JCC Book Fest

Starting this Sunday, the Jewish Community Center will be hosting its annual JCC Book Fest. This event will see multiple authors from across the country to showcase their work.

Director of arts, culture, and education, Phyllis Wolf visits the set along with author Elana Horwich to discuss her book “How to be a Badass in the Kitchen”.

Described as Amy Schumer meets the Dalai Lama meets Julia Child, Elana is a world-traveling, self-taught chef with a master’s degree in Jewish Italian History. She started a cooking school named ‘Meal and a Spiel’ and fills her cookbook with recipes, inspiration, and lessons while teaching to cook with confidence, intuition, and love.

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque is a nonprofit organization that strives to enrich and inspire the community by offering quality multigenerational fitness, wellness, cultural, recreational, social, and educational programs in a safe and welcoming environment.
