Help feed the children of New Mexico for Thanksgiving

Did you know that New Mexico ranks first in the nation for childhood hunger?

Nationwide, one in six children does not know where their next meal is coming from. In New Mexico, that number is more than one in four.

Feed NM Kids is on a mission to end childhood hunger in the state. In just over two years, Feed NM Kids has collected and distributed more than 56-tons of nutritious and non-perishable food to children throughout the Albuquerque Public Schools system.

The Thanksgiving Food Drive is striving to feed 3,000 families in partnership with APS. Each $50 pre-cooked meal will feed a family of four who would otherwise not be able to prepare and eat a Thanksgiving meal.

To donate, text “thanksgiving” to 505-375-6627. Meals will be delivered to 101 schools in APS on November 20 through November 22, 2019.
