Black Owned Burque, Rude Boy Cookies

February marks the start of Black History Month and to celebrate New Mexico Living is highlighting a variety of Black-Owned businesses throughout Albuquerque.

Our first stop is just off of the University of New Mexico campus which holds a sweet spot full of delectable desserts. Rude Boy Cookies comes from music with a lot of genre inspirations and fans of ska music will get the inspiration behind Rude Boy Cookies, Michael Silva Founder and Co-Owner. With a history of local Albuquerque businesses, Silva wanted to create a different type of cookie store like no other in the Metro with exceptional cookies. This is the spot to try unique cookies, ice cream, and more.
